boring old days, drifting away

Can I just say that my respect for anyone's perseverance to suffer through WotM to past ch. 20 has just gone waaaaaaay up? I was rereading the story, trying to recapture the magic. Originally, I was looking up a name, seeing if she had even made it in, but got wrapped up, and went back to the start, the first chapter.

My eyes burn; seared by the missing words and bad grammar. The early dialogue. Forgotten plot pieces. The OOC actions.

I'm horrified and awed that I don't remember my writing as this bad.

It needs to rewritten. I've know this for a while. I just had no idea how badly it needed it. No clue or conceptions.

Forgive me.

To my dearest story, WotM and all characters residing with in,

You know, I have issues with you. You've been around for over three years, infesting my mind, so how could I not. You're something that I've lost hours of sleep over, and I think about you at least hourly. But:

I have plot lines lying on the way-side, forgotten and discarded.

The continuity in you sucks.

My writing style has changed drastically since you began, in my opinion.

But most of all, the plot has changed so many times it's not funny, or even vaguely amusing to me...

...Well now that I think about it, it is bemusing, however that's not the point.

Yugi, Malik, Ryou and all yamis.... PLEASE STOP CHANGING THE PLOT ON ME NOW! Please, I'm nearly ready to cry. Look we've gone through how many plots for this part? At the bare minimum it's eleven. This one's nice, this one is nearly written out and it's good.

PS, YES, Yugi-tachi who were left behind, I hear you! Wait your damn turn or else I swear with the web as my witness that idea involving you and a certain firefly ship is going to get beyond my hard-drive and on to here!

I figured that I'd better update this thing, as I haven't really had a chance in a while. I'm presently working at the local library as a page (on of those people who's primary task is shelve books) and pushing the carts around takes a lot of me and my flabby muscles. It's rewarding though and I can steal glances at the books I'm shelving. Plus it pays.

Been busy, life keeps on throwing stuff at me and at least it hasn't been a lot of lemons (all though in the fandom sense that might be nice). The moving stuff is going reallllllllllly slow. But I'm going to be going up north this fall. So is my little brother. Very conflicted on that issue, but over all I think it will do him good. Me on the other hand... I might be hard pressed not to cause major bodily damage to someone. Probably going to channel some of it into to writing.

And thus we come to the rest of my post.


Maybe it's time to go to bed.... I'm becoming incoherent.
