boring old days, drifting away

Story of mine, do stop fighting me, please?

(WotC 13 = much hate and love on my part. I need explanations and they are boring.)

Haha, next chapter of WotC is up on FFN. Maybe if I keep on top of this story I can finish it by June!

Yeah, right.

So, this bitch of a fic (WotC) decided that its formerly possible sequel was a needed continuation that could not be split into an extra.

This adds somewhere between 10-15 more chapters. Oh, joy. On a slightly happier note, at least I will be writing about other HP characters in the other part. If the fic decides that it wants the third vague part to it (that I'm still not sure exists), I will scream.

Also, next chapter should be upon ff.net in a day or two, luck holding. I need to proofread and make sure it's not utter crap. Since it was all typed up about six hours (I ended up deleting my first crack at this chapter), we'll see how it goes.

Just so you know, WotC was only supposed to have ten chapters. I've been in what my original outline had as chapter six for the past three chapters. And the plot grew on me. Those plunnies, ya know?

So, here it is.

Screw it.


What ever I have on my computer come Friday night gets posted for WotC. I will run a spell check and read over for grammar in some clarity and flow, but that's it. It's going to go up.

I've gotten sick of not being able to write anything but oneshots. I have many of those I've not posted, and one or two that I think really should be.  But, since some of them are in the kinda-maybe-sorta-one-day-could-be-a-series category, I won't.

And I want to move on in WotC. I want to write Yuugi again.

I love fanfiction so very much, and believe that there should be standards, but there's only so long I feel that I cannot post this chapter.

And with this fire (hopefully) lit under me, I'll finish the damn fic.

I figured that I'd better update this thing, as I haven't really had a chance in a while. I'm presently working at the local library as a page (on of those people who's primary task is shelve books) and pushing the carts around takes a lot of me and my flabby muscles. It's rewarding though and I can steal glances at the books I'm shelving. Plus it pays.

Been busy, life keeps on throwing stuff at me and at least it hasn't been a lot of lemons (all though in the fandom sense that might be nice). The moving stuff is going reallllllllllly slow. But I'm going to be going up north this fall. So is my little brother. Very conflicted on that issue, but over all I think it will do him good. Me on the other hand... I might be hard pressed not to cause major bodily damage to someone. Probably going to channel some of it into to writing.

And thus we come to the rest of my post.


Maybe it's time to go to bed.... I'm becoming incoherent.

Both the first and the second chapters were supposed to be bigger. /sigh

I guess I'm going to have to resign myself to the idea of having around 2000 per chapter.
