Yuuko's one of my favorites too. I was cosplaying her last week at a con. I'd put up pictures, but I haven't found a good one yet (it's highly disappointing).

I'd love to cosplay Yuuko, should really put that sewing machine to work for more than household repairs *grumbles* do you get wigs online or is there somewhere local?
Put up the picks, pretty plese? Or at least put the costume back on again and take some photos then, if none on the day turned out well.

Well, I actually have really long hair so I dyed it black (...a year ago and the "temporary dye" still isn't really out, it's just a very dark brown now). But I did order fake bangs and a clip on hair piece for the loopy thing in the back.

As for fic... well, I want to finish other stuff first. It's a weird Hikaru no Go/xxxHolic idea that I don't have fully plotted out other than Sai + Yuuko = epic awesome.
That's sounds like a good idea, might save money, though I'm phobic of hair dye myself, a full wig may be better for me... you realy will have to put up pics one way or another, give all your non US readers a slice of what con-filled heaven is like. *Feels rejected by fandom by being a n00b Brit ;__;*
I can imagine how amazing that meeting would be, especially how Sai shifts between lovable puppy and steel-eyed God of the go board. *_* Yuuko would tease him either way.
Oooh, and Watanuki would be interesting too, he's never met such an old human spirit and he'd find the relationship between ghost and living person either nostalgic or frightening...
I'd be phobic about black hair dye. It should have been out almost a year ago.

I'm not sure how Watanuki would fit in. Since recent canon thing about Yuuko (trying not to spoil), my idea's changed some. *shrug* It's not nearly as formed as other ideas right now.
I'm up to date with canon so by all means spoil ahead, hope it doesn't throw your ideas too out of whack though.
Compared to American cons, the British ones are pretty naff, and all the larger ones are in England. Went to one in Edinburgh a couple of years ago and was very disappointed. :(
