My laptop is once again without power and has been *checks the date* four days short of a month now?! So, now you know why I seemed to disappear of the face of the earth. I also gave my brother and Dad a computer game they both have been addicted to, and all other computers have been tied up by that until the day before yesterday. But, at last, I can use the computer... for now.
On writing:
OSLI: At a stand still. It is co-written byurplesquirrel, and I. With no YIM currently, there is no chance.
WotC: The chapter is almost done, but for the duel, which is woefully underwritten (e.g., And then she plays a trap card that stalls it for one round and then wins/looses is about the extent of it).
WotM: I swear I'm working on it, I swear! Well, mostly. I really want to work on this chapter, but I need my laptop for it. Everything is on that, alas.
So yes, not dead, but in net terms, I might as well have been.
In other news, my haul of lot was decent with a season of B5, which I geeked out over and a really nice Japanese dictionary. I'm taking both chem. and physics right now, so let's see how mad I'll go before summer. The exchange program did not work, as usual Ella's Crazy Plan fell through.
It's been strange to not have really had internet access. I've been reading still, books. Going through about one and half a day. Rediscovered and discovered quite a few authors. Just yesterday when I was at the library, I found a book I've been meaning to read for almost four years.
However, my fingers have been itching to get back to typing, and despite everything being on my laptop, I've decided to at least try a little more. It's been a while, but I've written with a fic spread out over three or four computers (no joke). Also, I have a one-shot or two that were meant as a x-mas gifts to type up.
