Firefly drabble

River and Jayne's yelling sounded again.

Words drifted through the bulk head, scattered, and mostly meaningless--

"Gorramit, if you think I'm gonna--"

"Shots, then birds flying to the moon."

"--Iff'n you think I'm gonna take you hunting, spouting poetry..."

Kaylee poked Simon.

"Your sister."

Simon groaned, turned over, and snatched a pillow to cover his face. "Your sister in law. And your turn."

Kaylee cuddled closer. "How 'bout we say it's Mal's turn?"

Simon yawned. "Fine by me."

A moment later, when the bickering cut off, Simon drifted off to sleep, with one hand caught in Kaylee's hair.

Aww, Simon and Kaylee are cute! And I enjoyed River and Jayne's arguing. Reading stuff like this just makes me wish there was more Firefly.

I really, really wish there was more too. And Jayne lost the argument, but it was Mal that got to take River out hunting. She only bagged birds, much to Mal's disgust (she wouldn't let him shot a deer, to his great disgust).

And Simon and Kaylee are too cute.

Of course there should be more Firefly- those gorram TV nazis just cancelled it because they're evil. -_-

Lovely little snippet- I especially like River's line -sounds like something Luna would say- and it makes for a very odd arguement. ^_^

Oh, what's even funnier is Joss Whendon's newest series is gonna be on FOX too. If we get past the first season, I think it will be okay, but...

The question is if River's sounds like Luna and not herself. I don't like my loony characters to sound to much like each other. Will try to post something with Luna during the spree.

Kaylee's adorable all by herself, Simon's just an added bonus~!
