lovely, enjoyed this immensely... the ending was just stellar... although this is a great standalone, are you considering a sequel? I think I really enjoyed your characterization of gabriel, the dichotomy of something serious, weary and wise and the trickster we all know and love... I think you really do a good job of bringing across his curiosity and pov... anyway, thanks for sharing this lovely!
