Loyalty was why Seto kept the Blue-Eyes White Dragon cards long past the time Duel Monsters was played. He kept them in his locket, beside the picture of his brother, even as that same brother went away, to college.

Even now, with middle-age just beginning to catch up, he could recall the glint of the moon on white scales. He hadn't played them in over ten years, but they lay close to his heart, beside Mokuba.

Mokuba had moved on from Duel Monsters, had already begun to shape the new direction of the virtual world games that were beginning to sweep across the world even more virally then Duel Monsters ever had. Soon, Seto planned to turn over more control of the company over to him. Mokuba would do right by the company.

Kaiba Corp didn't need a CEO who was trapped in the past, which Seto was beginning to suspect stretched much, much further back than fifteen years ago.
