Where I have been for the last 2 and a half weeks...

I went up to the DC area to visit urplesquirrel Dec. 22. I just got back home at 1am last night.

I had a lot fun, got to meet some nice people, took many pictures (to be posted in a later post, hopefully), got fabric for a Fullmetal Alchemist cosplay (Sloth), and did many other things. Like work on my resume. I've been getting callbacks from all sorts of places that I don't want to work (insurance sales, to mention one). So, yeah, still job searching. XP

Writing wise, I got zip done. I discovered that I really like being able to use the internet while I'm writing to look up things, and not having wireless was kinda a determent there. Probably did not help that urplesquirrel  was write there rather than across the country on IM. However, I have several new ideas, so a few things might pop up in the next few weeks.

Right now, I'm shivering at home, waiting for my new coffee pot to brew my coffee (which I will then add milk and hot choctlate to). From my relatives I got a lot of fun things (which is really odd, actually), so all in all it's been a wonderful year for me. 

My resolutions, by the way.

Write an average of 20,000 words a month (which means 240,000 words this year).

and

Lose 30 pounds.

We'll just wait and see if either happens.
