Happy Singles' Awareness Day! ...Or Valentine's Day, if you're into that sorta thing.

In keeping with (mostly) the latter's spirit of things, here's a link to the first of the Horitsuba Gakuen Drama CDs on youtube, with subs. Horitsuba is another one of CLAMP's crazy insane crossover universes. In this case it's xxxHolic and Tsubasa (get it?), which means that any universe is up for grabs in it, I guess.

Uh, if you decide you want to watch/listen the others, do be aware that certain characters appear that are spoilers for later xxxHolic/Tsubasa chapters.

Okay, I've been wondering this since fall of '99 when I first read the books (OMG, I feel old).

How the fuck did Chamber of Secrets entrance end up in a bathroom?

Yet another sign college has eaten my brain after a long struggle. Or FMA. Not sure.

...Anyways, in attempting to memorize the derivatives of trigonometric functions, I saw sin (x) and started thinking about the Homunculi. Which lead to the inevitable matching of each function to a one of the Sins, as well as a silly bit about how to remember the derivatives of it.

Thus I present the trigonometric derivatives, FMA style! (only loosely connected to canon, sadly)

sin (x) = cos (x)
Lust likes Pride...

cos (x) = -sin (x)
But Pride doesn't like Lust.

tan(x) =sec^2(x)
Sloth thinks Wrath is like another son.

sec (x)= sec(x) tan(x)
Thus the two are often together.

csc(x)= csc(x) cot (x)
Gluttony and Envy are often together too...

cot(x)= -csc^2(x)
And Envy thinks that Glutton is annoying, to the second power.

Well, it makes sense to me!

A rough dialogue of yesterday, with omissions and slight changes:

Plot Bunny: *hop hop* *looks cute*

Stella: Study, study, midterm and paper due!

Plot Bunny: *wibbles*

Stella: Paper halfway done, now to study for quiz!

Plot Bunny: *whimpers pitifully*

Stella: *easily ignores* Ack! I need to print this off and run!

Plot Bunny: *sigh*

Intermission as Stella takes the midterm, and goes back to the dorm quite happy, and decompresses reading Hikago fanfic.

...And then decides to take a shower.

Plot Bunny: *goes darker with a twisted story line and a character death from the outset*

Stella: *stops washing her hair* What?!

Plot Bunny: *continues to menace*

Stella: Okay, awesome! This could be fun.

Later, after first rush has been written, Stella realizes that she needs to actually get dressed.

And the whole third person aspect of this probably implies that I need more than six hours of sleep, but I don’t think that’s happening any time before Friday. Calculus exam. XP Plus Japanese.
