I had this nice, bubbly post about food, a gay bar, and how awesome it was to see[livejournal.com profile] _yaten_kou_, [livejournal.com profile] yaexrae, and all the other girls, but it was only about half way written when I decided to change into my PJs and maybe-kinda-sorta twisted my ankle. Fuck.

ETA: Well, I've slept now, it's just a twinge now. Yay! I was really afraid I'd sprained it,

Since I have next to no voice still (thank you so much con plauge), I'm going to babble here.

My head feels like it's trapped in mollasses. Slowly, ever so preciatably gliding towards cohernecey, but nowhere near the finish.

And I have the Avatar Mini Bang to do. *whine* (Yes, this is a writing rant.) I have plot, I have ideas, and I have no idea how I'm going to even try to write this. It's annoying the hell out of me. I mean come on, it's Toph. Toph, for crying out loud. If I was trying to write something from the POV of Aang or Katara I could understand the issue, it's hard to write the more optomistic charaters sometimes, but it's Toph. She's awesomeness topped off with epic!
(What? This has nothing to do with the other prompt that I already have a 2000 word outline for, nothing! After all, I'm saving that for the Big Bang.)

Holy shit. I actually feel coherent.

So, went to OhayoCon last weekend. Was lots of fun, but I don't think I'm really here enough to do a detailed con post. So, summary:

Girl Genius~! *SQEE*
[livejournal.com profile] meepalicious~! Awesome~!
Hetalia... Cosplayers... Everywhere...
I have a kimono~!

And I'm sure that there are other things.

HP 7 Movie

Just saw HP7 (well, part 1, anyway)...

To the squee! )

OMFG, NaNo, I hate you.

Yes, really.

Okay, no, not really. But still

Time skip now. Or something. Randomly killing half the characters is totally an option at this point. Even if it would tear my plot to shreds.

...Maybe it's time to start making him have crazy dreams.

(This is brought to you by NaNoWriMo. The sure fire way to make me hate November.)

Word Count: 10,300/50,000

I got sick again. Am better now.

Just in time for NaNoWriMo, actually. Still trying to figure out if I'm doing that or not.

So, what makes four people travel at least two hours to one univeristy they never attended?

An Adam Lambert concert! (and yes, this post is over a week late) )
stellawind: (xxxholic)
So. Yeah.

There was a business conference and a wedding to go to and stuff.

And now, I have free time. *happy sigh*

Today I went poking at garage sales for the second week in a row. Part of toady's big haul was a two books about crime scenes and forensics for writers and an anatomy book. Turns out the husband was a published mystery writer. I kinda wished that I'd been able to work up the nerve to talk more, but I really couldn't. 'Sides, different genre from all the original stuff I write.

On the topic of writing, anyone want to toss a prompt at me? I'm trying to work on WotC and failing miserably, and I know if I try to work on the other fics in my head, they'll try to wring a few thousand words out of me and leave me standing dry. So, who wants a short fic?

Was just talking to [livejournal.com profile] _yaten_kou_ .

There's going to be a Supernatural anime. For real.

*Sqeeee*

(Now let the worry begin about the production values.)

I really shouldn't be surprised that my laptop working again, plus wireless (!) internet have been keeping me up late the past two nights, yet I am. And really! It's not like I've got anything interesting to read. This not the time to go back and read The Prince or The Moonstone on Gutenberg! I don't even think I liked those when I read them last.

Aiiii.

Ehehe. I really should update this more often.

Since mid-March, I've been working full time, using my degree and all that jazz. It's just been a kinda soul sucking. I've had little energy for writing until recently. Also, compounding that, my laptop's DC card frizzed out on me, leaving me with no way to charge it.

But, last week, I finally fixed it myself, and today, I found a wireless router a garage sale for all of three dollars.

So I'm ready to go. And completely obsessed with Supernatural. I had to find something to do without my laptop.

WotC: Chapter 12 (? It's been so long, I'm not even sure that's the right number): 50% written

Okaaaaaaaay. I think that's all the research I'm doing on that subject for the next week or so. Trek fic, you are wonderful in my mind but very very very mean in what you're making me research.

I think I'm going to go and huddle under the covers now. And read happy fic. Fluffier the better.
